Harmonicas At Harp Depot

Ukuleles

Harp Depot was founded on January 3, 1996 by John Hall in New Palestine, Indiana. John's love for the harmonica started when he saw some Marine Bands in his grandpa's suitcase back in 1969. His grandpa gave him one, and being in a music loving family made it easy for him to stick with the instrument. When he walked by the Slippery Noodle in Indianapolis on a summer's evening in 1990, and heard a harmonica player wailing the blues, it was love at first "sound"! Since then he's had an ever growing love for the blues which has fueled his enthusiasm for the harmonica business, and led him to found the "Bean Blossom Blues Fest" and the popular Bushman brand of harmonicas.

John sold Harp Depot to his best customer - "Doc" Belcher of Marion, Ohio - on November 30, 2004. It was a perfect transaction which allowed John to realize his goal of being able to focus exclusively on marketing and growing his Bushman brand, while it enabled Doc to jump right into the harmonica and musical instrument business with both feet. Since Doc's entry into the harmonica business, he has become a "harmonica consultant" and tries to make both himself and his other qualified staff easily available to those with questions.

Since Doc began operating Harp Depot, he has found the development and managements of websites a stimulating challenge. As a result, he now has multiple websites for musical instruments and accessories, which include: Harmonica website store Harp Depot; Harmonica website store 1st-In-Harmonicas; Guitar website store Doc's Guitar Depot; Harmonica website store Harp Express; Musical Instruments website store Doc's Music Center; Ukulele website store Doc's Ukuleles; Musical instrument website store Doc's Music Resources; Ukulele website store Doc's Ukes; Leather products for harmonicas

and guitars website store Buckeye Leather, referenced on the Home page. In addition, he has another three websites that are not related to music, including: A loneliness website All About Loneliness; A website about residential care facilities for the mentally ill, Buckeye Family; A website concerning the experience of being delisted, and Delisted By Google.

When Doc found that that Bushman's leather business was up for sale, he contacted John and worked out the details. He purchased the equip-ment, supplies, patterns, and business. However, Doc did not purchase the Pullman (R) Trade name. Doc decided to develop the Buckeye Leather trade name.
